What is the Actual URL?
The actual URL is the long URL or Internet address of your existing ad when it is posted.
Why do I need isByOwner.com?
Sending and remembering short URL links is easier and faster. And it doesn’t cost anything!
What type of URL links can I register?
You can register any normal advertisement, such as: car ad, house ad, employment ad, etc. Any ad URL that is too long to use as a link when you are trying to get exposure.
How do I modify an existing short URL?
Log in to your account. You will be presented with a list of all your short URLs that are listed on our website. Select the URL you wish to edit and click on it. Your short URL information will automatically be retrieved and displayed for editing.
What do I do if I haven't received my confirmation email?
There may be a couple of reasons you haven’t received your confirmation email. If you have a junk mail filter on your email box, you may find your confirmation email in your junk mail folder. Please make sure you are set up to receive email from IsByOwner.com.
You may have mistyped your email address during the creation of your new URL. Please contact us and we’ll send you another confirmation.
Does the name on isByOwner.com expire?
If actual URL expires, or the user account is inactive for more than three months, a reminder email will be sent to notify user of impending removal. We will delete any isByOwner.com name from our database that violates our Terms of Service or when we get a valid abuse report.
